In Her Own Words: How a Mentoring Relationship Can Help

Theresa’s Letter about Chelsey

Chelsy is the greatest person I had ever met. When Kelly from the mentoring office called my mom I was excided for what she had for me. When I came into the mentoring office I thought I saw an angel standing there. Kelly was a lifesaver because she gave me an mentor that is pretty, smart, kind and also a Alicia Keyes friend. Not even a friend a sister that I can count on and I can talk to and travel with. Chelsey is apart of my familt and she will always be that’s why I love her. On our first date we went to McDonalds I loved it we got to know each other very well. My favorite trip that we went to was the Alicia Keyes concert. I thank her for that amazing trip. I never felt like that because I had other mentors that didn’t workout so I felt because I’m with Chelsy.
